How Maan is Helping Get Food and distributing into Gaza
Even though the situation is extremely difficult, Maan has found ways to supply food to families in Gaza so far. Alhamdulillah
Here’s how:
1. Local Team on the Ground
Maan Together International works with trusted local team members who live in Gaza.
They know the area well and can deliver food and water quickly and safely, even in dangerous conditions.
2. Using Available Supply Routes
Food is brought in through supply routes when they are open. When allowed, Maan, with the help of other charities, uses crossings like Rafah and Kerem Shalom, coordinating with food suppliers and international aid channels.
3. Pre-Stocked Supplies
Before the crisis worsened and closed borders, some local traders had stored extra food in Gaza. While these supplies are limited and expensive, they are now being used to support people in need. Alhamdulillah, with the strength of our team, we’ve been able to provide food to our refugee camp.
4. Transparency and Accountability
Maan documents all food distributions carefully to keep our donors informed and ensure every donation reaches those who need it most.
